  1. Taking photos is really important because it captures a time in history and gives you memories to look back on later in life. They make you happy and they are a good way to document so you can show the latter generations what it was like in this one.

  2. Pictures are very important to me. They remind me of good memories and they make me feel closer to my friends and family. Pictures tell stories, and I love trying to discover those stories.

  4. I am the one missing from most of our family photos. Not only do I hate the process of taking pictures, I hate how I look in them. I hate looking back at them. It's not a memory for me. It's just a pain.

  5. I take the most photos of anyone in my family. I'm always capturing the moment. I'll have five of the same photo, each one with a different filter.

  6. My mum is usually the one that takes the most photos in our family. One of my family's funniest/weirdest photos is of going to SDC with my grandma, from my mum's side, and we were soaked from the Lost River ride.

  7. My mom is the one to take most of the photos. The dog is usually missing, since he seems to really want to chew on cameras. My mom also organizes the photos on the computer, when the app isn't broken or being stupid.

  8. My mother takes the majority of the photos in our family. She discovered facebook a few years ago, so now everything my family does is documented on the internet. Before social media, my mom still took a lot of photos, but she scrapbooked them instead of posting them. Until recently, before my mom discovered the "selfie", she was missing from the majority of our photos. My older sister Kara has also been absent from them for the past 6 years.

  9. I wish I had a picture with my nanny, granted she was never really a fan of pictures, I would just like to have some more recent photos of us. I have a great picture of her holding me as a baby with the widest smile on her face and i'll forever remember her smile in that photo and the genuine love and joy on her face.

  10. Photos are important because it allows us to go back and see a moment in time in our life that we recall in our memories. I think it is fascinating because time never stops and by taking a picture it represent the present which then becomes the past.

  11. Photos are very important to me because there are some memories that I wouldn't be able to remember without photos and they allow you to go back and revisit such fond moments. They also allow you to see family members you wouldn't necessarily remember without them.

  12. The person missing in most of our photos is my mom. She likes to take the pictures of us, and always says she doesn't look good enough for the picture. Honestly I think it's just because she wants to take all the pictures haha.

  14. Most of the photos from my childhood are "archived" in a giant bag that's been crammed into the hall closet of my mother's home. The aged the 1-hour prints have water stains, most have bent corners, some are just blurry shots that weren't sorted through and thrown away. When I take the time to sit down spread them out in front of me, they're all equally as precious.

  16. In my family it is my mom who likes to take photos, it is me who is actually good at it.
Alec my little brother tends to not be in most of the shots. He hates photographs so he tends to avoid them at all costs.
A majority of our photos are just in a giant plastic bucket. Being forgotten.
I love photos but most of my friends hate them so I dont get any of them.
I wish I had a picture of when my family was shiny and new. I don't know how other to explain it.

  18. The person missing in my photographs is me. I tend to take the photos because I am greatly camera shy. I literally will move out of the way when a camera is whipped out. I think it has to do with not being able to control what is posted.

  19. My mom takes the most photos in my family, which is pretty typical from what I've seen. The parents know what it's like to want more pictures from when you are young so they try to take as many as they can. My friends and I rarely "take pictures", but we all do about the same amount. Photos in my house are in a drawer in folders, not necessarily in perfect order but organized. Photos are important to me to be able to look back on and remember, one of the most funny photos is my brother and I in the backyard with him wearing my karate suit. I wish I had more pictures of LA.

  20. Photos are really important to me. Even if the memories fade, we can look back at the pictures and smile a little. I always have my photos printed out and i keep some in my scrap book and some just put away for when I come across them or remember about them.

  21. my little sister takes the most pictures in my family I am missing from most of them because from younger years my father is missing from them. Pictures aren't as important to me as most people only because at some point something will remind of a moment with my family being there

  23. I would say that im the one to take all of the photos because im not in most of them. Pictures are of no importance for me because my memory wouldn't remember taking them in the first place. I don't really like being around my family because of the choices i make most of them want me to change how i act.

  24. My mom is always the one in the family who takes the pictures, so she is always the one missing in the pictures too. Along with her, my dad is missing from many pictures nowadays because of his death in 2011. His spot in the family pictures in now empty.

  25. My dad takes most of the photos in my family because he has a high quality camera. I think photos are really important because when I am explaining unique features of people to friends I like showing them there picture.
